Tribal Government Student Scholarship

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION DEADLINE: June 15^th, 2025 by 11:59 pm PST

Applicants must answer the following questions; Each Answer must be at least 250 words, and 500 words max.

Recipients will be announced at the Annual Student Dinner.

Scholarship recipients will receive a phone call, email or letter informing them of their award if they do not attend the Student Recognition Dinner. Only students who are awarded will be notified by the Education Department. Their names will be printed in the Tribal Newsletter, and the scholarship will be sent directly to the student.

1.) Applicant must be an enrolled member of the Confederated Tribes of Coos, Lower Umpqua, and Siuslaw Indians.

2.) Scholarship submissions must include the following: Cover Page: include your name, address, phone number, tribal enrollment number.

3.) Applicants must have a minimum 2.5 GPA.

4.) Chosen applicants will receive up to $1,500, and can be awarded once per year.

5.) If you apply for other scholarships you are not automatically awarded this one. You must apply for all scholarships separately.

6.) This scholarship does not go through the education committee like other scholarships, this one is approved by the education department.

7). Applicants can be in any year of higher education (entering Fall 2024 and beyond)
8). Applications for Scholarships must be received by June 15, 2025, no later than 11:59 P.M. Pacific Standard Time. If applications are not in by this deadline time, they will not be considered for the awards.
